Privacy policy
How we handle your data on this website – explained in plain language.
This policy applies to the website nest54.com. Use of the nest54 platform is governed by separate privacy information and – for businesses – a data processing agreement.

2. The essentials at a glance
- We use no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising cookies.
- We load no third-party content – fonts, images and icons are served from our own server.
- We only set strictly necessary cookies (language choice, protection of the contact form).
- We use the details from the contact form solely to answer your request.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by a hosting provider in Germany: [name and address of the hosting provider]. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL and browser and operating system information. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
4. Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for operating the website (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). No consent is required for these.
- nest54_lang – remembers the language you explicitly selected (German/English), stored for 12 months.
- nest54_form – session cookie that protects the contact form against misuse; deleted when you close your browser.
5. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, optionally company, phone number, team size and your message) to handle your request. To prevent misuse, we also store the date, time and a shortened IP address.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. a demo or a trial workspace); otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Your request is forwarded to us by email. We delete your data once your request has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply; usually after six months at the latest.
6. Recipients
We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to our hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent given at any time. An informal email to info@nest54.com is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us, the Data Protection Commissioner of the State of Brandenburg.
8. Security
The website is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS (TLS). Form data is transmitted in encrypted form.
9. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
Last updated: October 2026. This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.
